Salem – Virginia H. Tormey passed away quietly in her sleep July 24, 2009 at her home in Salem, Oregon. She fell and fractured her pelvis on her 92nd birthday and was unable to recover from complications.

Ginny was born in Omaha, Nebraska to Francis Lester Morgan and Helen Irene (Hart) Morgan ,but grew up in Burlingame, California. She attended San Jose State College four years, then married Warren P. Tormey on Sept. 13, 1939 9n Yreka, Calif.

She is survived by her husband of almost 70 years, sons Robert and Bruce of Salem, Oregon, grandsons Brian of Brooklyn, NY, Sean of Dallas, Oregon and Derick of Salem, Oregon.
