In loving memory

Shaw Gregrey Hammack
April 25th, 1977 - April 7th, 2010

Salem-Shaw was born and raised in Salem, OR to Greg Hammack and Toni Marosi. He was raised by Greg and Brenda Hammack in Keizer, OR. He attended Cummings Elementary, Whiteaker Middle School and McNary High School. Shaw moved to Washington in 1997, where his son Jacob was born. Shaw’s number one priority in life above all, was his son Jacob. Jacob was his dad’s best friend and fishing companion. Shaw loved fishing as a child and instilled that custom with his son. Shaw also loved being with family and friends and enjoyed the company of his pets. He always lived life with a smile on his face. Shaw grew up loving sports, including snowmobiling, jet skiing, riding wave runners, and ATVs. Shaw was able to make trips with his dad to the majestic West Yellowstone area; and taking voyages in the family boat north through the San Juan Islands. Shaw, in addition, had a passion for demolition car racing. He not only raced, but had a vast knowledge of the cars themselves and built some of his own. Shaw was a strong individual who fought through much in life. Shaw had to fight with ill health for many years from the age of fourteen on. During the last days of his life he fought fierce and truly was a “Superman”. Though his fight is complete now, his soul will live on in all that he has touched with his beautiful smile. We all love you Shaw and we will treasure the beautiful memories that you have left in our hearts forever.
