SALEM
Sharon K. Lucas, 59, passed away Sunday. She was born March 20, 1950 in Fort Morgan Colorado to Walter J. and Lea R. (Hitzman) Meyer. Raised in Nebraska, she was graduate of Beatrice High School.
Sharon moved to Salem in 1981 where she worked in retail for several years before focusing on a love of crafting, ceramics, and in recent years, jewelry making.
She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Buffham of Salem and her son Daniel Bugay of Columbus NE. She is also survived by her three brothers. Thomas Meyer of Prineville, Larry Meyer of Nevada, and Rod Meyer of Arizona.
There will be a Celebration of Life at 1:00 pm on Saturday, December 19th at Virgil T. Golden Funeral Services.
