Sharon went home to be with her Lord and Savior after a four and a half year battle with cancer. Sharon was born and lived her entire life in Salem. She spent the last several years of her life enjoying her grandchildren, dog and riding horses with her very special friend Jim McCullom. She was preceded in death by her husband Jim and mother Meredith Martin. Sharon is survived by her two sons James (Sherry) and Bruce (Janet) and her grandchildren Brandon, Cory and Reagan. She is also survived by her father Don (Vivian) Zielinski, sister Donna (Chuck) Carpenter, sister Jean (Doug) Haslebacher, and sister Dolores (Randy) Wells. Donations in her honor may be made to Willamette Valley Hospice.

A Funeral service will be at 10:00, Friday, June 5 at Virgil T. Golden Funeral Service. Committal services will be at 3:00 pm at City View Cemetery. Arrangements are by Virgil T. Golden Funeral Service.
