CARLSBAD, CA – Reinhold Hart went to be with the Lord at age 94 after spending 14 days in a San Diego, California hospital on Wednesday, February 10 of a sudden fall and heart attack. He was born in North Dakota as the second of ten children born to Conrad and Minnie Hart. He is preceded in death by his parents and sisters Pauline Smith, Freda Seiber and Hilda Hart. He is survived by brothers, Robert and Donald, sisters, Anna Hansen, Esther Loewen, Lorraine Carper Ruth Smith and many nieces and nephews. After the death of his wife Maria in 1998, he moved to Carlsbad by the Sea Retirement Center in Carlsbad, California, where he lived for 11 years. He will be greatly missed by his family along with the staff and residents of the retirement center.

           

            Reinhold was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and World War II and retired as a Chief Petty Officer with the U.S. Navy after 24 years of service.

 

            Viewing will be held from 2-4 PM on Sunday, February 21at Virgil T. Golden Funeral Service. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, February 22 at Virgil T.
