Dallas- Ray Lewis was born in Los Angeles, California on May 3, 1934 to Samuel and Helen Lewis. He served his country in the U.S. Navy for four years. Ray married Betty Lewis on February 6, 1954 in Huntington Park, California. He worked for 35 years in Appliance Repair for the General Electric Company in the Los Angeles area until 1990. He moved to Dallas, Oregon in October of 1990. Ray was a member of Clan Gunn Society of North America and the NRA. Ray’s primary hobby was sporting clay.

 

He is survived by his wife Betty Lewis of Dallas; son Jim Lewis of Tucson, Arizona; daughter Terry Sanford of Dallas; sister Barbara Love of McMinnville; four grandchildren, Sean, Josh, Kevin, and Hilary; and one great-grandchild Nicholas.
