Santa Cruz, CA- Former area resident Mary Robison passed away on Thursday, December 14 at Pacific Coast Manor Nursing Home in Santa Cruz. Mary was born on August 18, 1926 in North Bend, OR to Clarence W. and Bessie Mae (Walker) Parker.
Mary married Gerald Manley Robison on August 8, 1948 in Salem. Her husband passed away in July of 1978. Mary worked for Blue Cross Insurance Company in Northern California until retiring in the 1980's. Once she retired, she returned to Oregon and made Lake Oswego her home. In the late 1990's she moved to Northern California to be closer to her children.
Mary was an active member of Christ Episcopal Church in Lake Oswego; P.E.O. Sisterhood, and Alpha Chi Omega. Mary's hobbies included decorating and floral arranging. Survivor's include her daughter, Kathleen Robison and son-in-law Matthew Gustat of Carmel,CA; son, Richard Robison and daughter-in-law, Candace Robison of Milpitas,CA.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 20, 2006 at 12:00p.m. at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her name to The Chaplain's Service, University of Oregon Medical School Hospital South, Portland, OR 97207. Arrangements are by Virgil T. Golden Funeral Service.
