GRESHAM – Marion R. Sellers passed away on July 3 at the age of 96. She was born July 12, 1913 in Salem to Martin and Caroline (Charvat) Cernik.

 

            Marion was a lifelong resident of Salem. She married Lyle H. Sellers on December 12, 1936. She was a registered nurse and retired in 1945. Marion was a member of First Christian Church. She enjoyed gardening and her roses.

 

            Marion was preceded in death by her husband Lyle in 1998. She is survived by her son James J. (Sheryl) Sellers of Bend; her daughter Lorry Sellers Jackson of Gresham; three grandchildren, Angelene, Aaron and Adam; and four great-grandchildren, Tyler, Keyshawn, Keariana and Jaxin.

 

            A time of visitation will b e from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Virgil T. Golden Funeral Service, followed by a cryptside service at 2:00 PM on Thursday, July 8 at Mt. Crest Abbey Mausoleum. Arrangements are by Virgil T. Golden Funeral Service.
