Salem – Marian Jean Strother , age 70, passed away peacefully after a short battle of Lung Cancer. She will be deeply missed by all those that knew her, especially her family.
Marian is survived by her husband Rob Strother (married July 1, 1983) of Salem; sons Melvin (Butch) Toney, William Toney and daughter Cathy Toney, all of Salem; 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; mother Francis Baney of Salem; brothers Robert Fowler and Larry Fowler of Salem; nephews Adam Fowler and Jerrid Fowler of Salem.
Marian enjoyed crocheting, camping, fishing, church and dancing with her husband Rob. She was a Parklane Jewelry sales rep and enjoyed being a member of the Red Hat Keizer Cuties. Most of all time, spent with her children and grandchildren were most precious. Marian may be gone in presence, but she will live forever in our hearts.
A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, June 27 at Bible Center Fellowship 4049 Market St NE in Salem. Arrangements are by Virgil T. Golden Funeral Service.
