Margaret Hale of Salem died May 12th, just 10-days shy of her 92nd birthday.
Margaret was born May 22, 1917 in Salem - the first of what would be 6
children born to George and Mina Herscbach.
In 1933 Margaret married Edward Dolan, he died in January 1971. In
1979 Margaret married Johnny O.K. Hale, and he died in 2000.
Margaret made her career in office management. From 1941 until 1952
she worked for Salem Bus Company (now Cherriots). From 1952 until her
retirement in 1979 she was the office manager of the Salem Electrolux
office.
Margaret enjoyed traveling, gardening, and spending time with her
family. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Survivors include her sister Ada Forrest of Salem; and her
Grand-Nephew Kelly Mix and his wife Joanna, also of Salem.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Willamette Humane Society.
