Mae Ardella Culver, 84, of Salem Oregon and a former long-time resident of Aberdeen, Washington passed away on January 9, 2010 after a brief illness. She was born April 26, 1925 in Medina, North Dakota, the daughter of Howard and Mildred Sam. She was an office manager and automotive bookkeeper. Throughout her career she was recognized as an excellent bookkeeper and received several awards. Her interests included; casino life, cooking, reading, crossword puzzles, sewing and crafts. She enjoyed and loved her granddaughters.

   Mae is survived by her son Glenn and his wife Donna Gross, two daughters ; Mardelle Wilson and Teri and her husband Chris Read, a brother; Roy Sam , sister Laura Brown, granddaughters, Emily, Hannah and Margaret and many nieces and nephews.

   A celebration of life service will be Saturday, January 16, 2010 at 11:00A.M. at Virgil T. Golden Funeral Service 605 Commercial St. S.E. Salem, Oregon.
