Linda (Scott) Chapman passed away on Monday, August 24 peacefully in her sleep. Linda married Leon Scott (now deceased) in the 1960's and had two children. During this time she worked for Payless Drug Stores in various positions. She and Leon divorced in the late 1970's and later married Doyle Chapman (now deceased) and eventually retired. After living in California, Texas, Washington and Idaho they settled in Woodburn where she'd lived for the past 15 year and became the neighborhood Mom and Grandma to her close neighbors Paula, Shana, Danny and Daisy.
Linda is survived by son Staff Sgt. Michael A. Scott and wife Lydia of Springfield, daughter Tifany A. Weir of Keizer, granddaughters Melissa Scott, Ashley Scott of Springfield and great-granddaughters Kalana and Mahaya both of Springfield.
