Laurie Ann Gibson, 50, of Salem, Oregon, born August 21,1958, passed away

peacefully on June 15, 2009 in the presence of all of us who loved her.

Laurie is survived by her children, Joshua and Ashlee Gibson, parents John

and Marlene Martinez, sisters Diana, Kimberly and Nancy and beloved cat

Sophie, as well as her many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by

her loving husband, Randy Gibson in 2007. Laurie married her sweetheart,

Randy, in 1982.  They raised their two children in Modesto, California before

moving to Hillsboro, Oregon and then to Salem, Oregon. Laurie loved animals,

crafts and making people laugh. Laurie, we will miss your quirky sense of

humor, your loyalty and your love.

 

Visitation will be from 1:00 to 4:00pm on Friday, June 19, 2009 with a funeral service

At 2:00pm at Virgil T. Golden Funeral Service.
