Resident of Salem, OR died from heart failure on May 21, 2009 in her son Robert’s home. Kathryn was born in Oshkosh, WS on January 23, 1921 to Edward and Katherine LaCasse. Kathryn was a long time resident of Sacramento, CA, she was a college graduate, homemaker and retired from the California DVM as a Senior Clerk. Preceded in death by her husband of 55 years Robert A. Martina, she is survived by their 6 children; Robert W. Martina of Salem, OR, Carol Loehr of Pullman WV, Nancy Martina of Sacramento, CA, Jayne Cummings of Mountain City, TX, Paul Martina of Sacramento, CA and Jon Martina of Fairlawn NJ, 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Kathryn touched many people in her life; she will be remembered and loved. Private services will be held. Arrangements by Virgil T, Golden Funeral Services.
