INDEPENDENCE – Jo Ann Schick passed away on May 21 at the age of 88. She was born January 24, 1921 in Columbia, Missouri to Arthur and Ariel (Gurley) Cline.

 

            Jo Ann was raised in Missouri and Michigan. She married Harold Schick on April 3, 1943. They settled in Oregon in 1980. Jo Ann was a member of Eastern Star and Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. She enjoyed sewing, crafts and gardening.

 

            Jo Ann was preceded in death by her husband Harold in 2000. She is survived by her son and daughter in law Karl and Lisa Schick of Salem; grandchildren Kyle and Katie Schick; and sisters Ruth Bolt, Mary Lou Foxworth and Sarah Baynes.

 

            A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 30 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. Arrangements by Virgil T. Golden Funeral Service.
