Jean Bailor was born June 5, 1924 in Silverton, where she had lived most of her life.

 

She attended the University of Oregon, where she obtained her nursing degree and then worked at Scared Heart Hospital and a local Doctor. She lived in the Eugene area for 30 years, and after retiring she moved back to her family home in North Howell, where she spent the rest of her life.

 

She is survived by her niece, Kathy Sandoval and nephew Joe Scism, three great nephews, one great niece and 5 great nephews and three great great nieces.

 

A mass will be held 1:00pm, Thursday, October 1, 2009 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Silverton.
