James “Larry” Milroy
Larry was born in Bremerton, Washington on May 3, 1943 and passed away of congestive heart failure on May 25, 2009. In between those dates, he left a legacy that will make the time he spent here unforgettable. He leaves three sons, David Paul Mountain-Milroy, James Edward Milroy and Robert Houston Milroy, his wife and partner, Karla and 14 grandchildren.
Larry was a master craftsman, restoring vintage muscle cars, old guns, old homes, everything he touched was brought back to a perfection that defied logic. He was a skilled pool player, bringing that game to an art form that was mesmerizing. He was affectionately called “the Professor”, a title he earned by his intelligence, quick wit and wonderful sense of humor. He developed wonderful friendships throughout his life and treasured each one. He’ll be missed and remembered by everyone whose life he touched.
