Mom’s message to everyone, “Go Have Fun!”
Salem- Helen Ruth Barrett passed away at home with her family at her side on April 15, 2010. She was married to West B. Barrett for 60 years. Helen and West were real estate brokers in Salem, Oregon. Helen also operated her own custom upholstery business. She was blessed with six children, 21 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. Helen was a gifted artisan. She enjoyed restoring antique furniture and playing piano. Helen loved being with her family and pets. One of her greatest pleasures was creating memorable family events for all occasions and celebrating with her children.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, April 21st at the Belcrest Memorial Park Chapel in Salem.
