Salem-Friederike Ruegsegger was born on December 13, 1926 in Frankenberg, Austria. She died on Tuesday, February 16, 2010 in the care of her loving daughters. She married Ernest Ruegsegger on December 22, 1952 in Newport News, Virginia and they moved to Salem from San Leandro, California in 1993. Ernest preceded her in death on July 4, 2000.

 

She is survived by: her daughters, Margrit Angeloni (Greg) of Salem, Marianne Ruegsegger (Tomas Villalobos) of Escondido, Calif.; and grandsons, Joseph and Michael. 

 

She enjoyed playing pinochle at the South Salem Senior Center. She will be remembered as a beloved wife, loving mother and devoted grandmother.

 

A memorial service will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, February 20, 2010 at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 3737 Liberty Road South. Interment will be private at Belcrest Memorial Park.
