Florence Ellen Barnett was born in Stratton, Nebraska on March 25, 1909.

 

Florence was married to Paul B. Loop on May 31, 1928. They moved to Elwood, Nebraska in 1932 and lived there until 1939 when they moved to Pomona, California. In California Florence worked as a tailor in a men’s clothing store. In 1952 they moved to Salem where she has resided until this time.

 

In Salem Florence worked as a tailor at a men’s clothing store and Paul also operated a small engine and lawn mower repair shop until they both retired.

 

She is survived by: nephews, Gerald Barnett of Seguin, Texas and Delbert Childs of Bonney Lake, Washington; nieces, JoAnn Parkhill of Roseburg, Paula Wilson of Bonney Lake, Washington and Ann Wissink of Stratton, Nebraska.

 

She was a member of the Free Methodist Church of Salem.
