Emily was preceded by her parents, Francis and Alice Ryder; her sister, Frances Ryder Grabenhorst; her brothers, Ted, Gene, Reginald, and Eddie; and her husband, Fred. She is survived by her sister, Marjorie Butler of Portland, her daughter, Linda and son-in-law Gary Kaplan of Burlingame, CA; step-son Ron Rohde and wife, Beverly of Rickreall; many devoted cousins, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, extended family members, and loving friends.

Graveside services were Saturday, November 15th at Bethel Cemetery, corner of Oak Grove Rd and Zena Rd.  The family requests  that any donations be sent to Willamette Valley Hospice 1015 3rd St NW Salem, OR 97304. Arrangements are by Virgil T. Golden Funeral Service.
