Salem – Born in Pendleton, OR to Walton and Mabelle Roork, Betty was raised in Portland, OR and lived there till the 1960’s when she moved to Salem, OR. Betty retired from the Oregon State Hospital after which she really started to live her life. She learned to drive in her 60’s and bought a racy Mustang as her first car. Betty enjoyed seeing places she had only read about and traveled to exotic locals including Spain, Greece and Egypt, as well as seeing most of the US.

Betty will be missed by her many friends at the Jason Lee Manor and Willson House. She is survived by her daughter Lynn and was predeceased by her son Bill. Per her request there will be no services.
