Eileen was born July 22nd, 1940 in Forest Grove, Oregon to William Allen and
Nina May (Nelson) Sheppard. After her father died, her mother moved the
family to Salem. Eileen attended Bush Grade School, then Leslie Junior High,
and Graduated from South Salem High School in 1958.
 
She married and moved to Springfield, OR where she raised her family of
three boys, Roger, Larry, and David Widdifield. She was divorced in 1990.
 
She met Harold "Mac" McKittrick from Minnesota at a Church Conference in
Eugene and married him in 1991. Mac was a real estate broker in the
Brainerd, MN area and they purchased a home there, where Eileen established
a successful lawn ornament business.
 
When they married, Mac promised Eileen that when he retired they would
return to the warm winter rain of the Willamette Valley and in 2001 they
returned to Salem.
 
Eileen is survived by her husband Mac, two sons Larry and David, five step
children Dawna, Daniel, Amanda, Andrew, and Matthew, her brother Bill
Sheppard, step brother Steve Overstreet, and step sister Jane Stein,
numerous Grandchildren, step Grandchildren, and Great Grandchildren. Her
eldest son Roger and step sister Susan Henry preceeded her in death.
 
The family would like to invite everyone to the Memorial Service on
Thursday, June 10th at 3:00pm. The service will be at the Liberty Christian
