SALEM – David MacDonald Willard was born in Jerome, Arizona. His family moved to southern California where he grew up the youngest of six children. At age 18, he joined the Air Force, serving 23 years. His career focused on hospital administration, retiring as a Senior Master Sgt. from Kingsley Field AFB in Klamath Falls, Oregon.

 

            In later years he enjoyed camping, family gatherings, gardening and especially having his granddaughters ride on the tractor with him while mowing. He has enjoyed calling Salem home for the past 28 years. He is survived by wife Lavonne, son Michael, daughter Melanie, granddaughters Cordelia and Kira, brothers Rodney and Dudley and sisters Rachael and Marilyn.

 

            Funeral services will be 10:00 AM on Wednesday, March 24 at the Seventh-day Adventist Church, 840 Sonoma Ave, Santa Rosa, California.
