Salem – Dorothy Bynum, 82, passed away Aug. 30th at her home in Salem. She was born in Albany, Ore to Frank and Lila Layton on Jan. 8, 1927. She was a long time realtor in the Dallas area. She loved to travel, garden, read and spend time with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and two sisters, also by husbands, Harvey Jepsen, and Kenneth Bynum.
She is survived by three sons David Jepsen, Anchorage, AL, Steve Jepsen Pierre, SD, Mike Jepsen, Independence, OR and daughter Linda Fixsen, Stayton, Or., three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
A service will be planned for a later date.
