In loving memory

CHARLES R. SEALEY
April 16, 1932 - December 9, 2009

Keizer- Chuck passed away on Wed., Dec 9, with his family by his side. He was born April 16, 1932 in Dundee, Or., to parents Lester and Martha Sealey. He moved to Salem on his 2nd Birthday. He attended Bush elementary school, Leslie middle school and Salem high school (now North Salem high school). After graduation he joined the Air Force until returning to Salem in l952, when he married Florene “Dutch” Anderson on Oct. 25, 1952. He worked for Western Auto, then Pacific Auto supply until 1956. He spent the next 28 years working at Salem Auto Parts until 1984. He then went to Automatic Transmission Specialties until retiring in Feb. 1996.
 
 Chuck became active in volunteering at the Keizer Elks Lodge. He was awarded Elk of the year 1995-1996 and 2004-2005. He was awarded Officer of the year 1997-1998 and North Central District of the year 2003-2004. He was a member of the Outsiders camper club and very much enjoyed camping and going to casinos.
 
He is survived by his wife Dutch of 57 years, sons, Steven (Kim) Sealey, Don (Connie) Sealey, daughter, Karen (Terry) Kephart, Sister, Mary Kneppner, 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by both parents. 
 
                              He will be greatly missed by all who knew him and loved him
 
 A graveside service will be held 10:00a.m. Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at City View Cemetery, followed by a memorial service at the Keizer Elks Lodge, 4250 Cherry Ave NE., at 1:00PM
