Salem-On March 17, 2010, Bruce D. Peterson passed away after an eight year battle with cancer. He was strong and willed his way through this illness. It is with love and appreciation for your friendship to Bruce and Norma that we share this information. Bruce worked for Dr. Sorenson and Stevens, both Ophthalmologists in the community whom he appreciated and respected. We will hold a memorial service for Bruce at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at Virgil T. Golden Funeral Service, Salem. A reception of potato chips and hot dogs will follow as dad didn’t want to do this anyway. Please join us in a celebration of his life with his wife, Norma of 61 years and his children, Cherry, Allen, and Bryon Peterson as well as grandchildren Adrian Burtner, Jacob and Bayley Peterson.
