Alice H. Smith, 77 of Salem, Oregon went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 12, 2009.

Alice the daughter of Henry and Evelyn(Burgess) Buchanan was born April 3, 1932 in Ellensburg, Washington.

 She is survived by two sons; Ken and Dave Parsons both of Salem, a sister Margie Bryant of Yakima Washington, granddaughters; Alison Eaton of Washougal, Washington and Angie Udelhoven of Colorado Springs, Colorado , a grandson; Jeremy Parsons of Salem, and three great-grandchildren. Alice was preceded in death by a daughter ; Gloria Fleck.

   She was a past member of Sweet Adelines Salem chapter, She enjoyed tole painting, ceramics, sewing, making and collecting dolls and time with her family and friends. At the families request no services are scheduled. Arrangements by Virgil T. Golden Funeral Services 605 Commercial St. SE Salem.
